Hey I know we haven't interacted all that much but I totally get being turned off by all the shipping, it's taken a long time for me to actually get used to it in fandom (as someone who is ace and. i think that yeah, my main reason for being uncomfortable with all the shipping is because i’m aro and i just. feel really isolated and stuff. it’s feels like if you’re not creating ship content than no one really, cares?, about what you’re creating and the main story of the show gets sidelined for ships. like, i’d bet if i filtered ALL the ship tags and scrolled through the sm tag it’d be all blocked posts, there’s nothing left.. (again, not saying people can’t ship, i just personally feel really isolated and uncomfortable)

My past awaits there for me, and perhaps I’ve been too harsh with it, brushing it aside all the time. And there, in Blacklight, my past and future intertwine now. Huh. Life is hilarious sometimes, innit?” 

The man was looking at her dumbfounded. He needs a second to gather his thoughts, and after opening and closing his mouth a few times, he manages: “Damn. If ye weren’t wearing fancy mage robes, I could’ve sworn you’re a bard. Yer words be even fancier than yer robes.” 

She smiles, she can allow herself this moment of vulnerability because for the first time since that door opened with her blood, she feels as if she wouldn’t crumble. She feels stable, maybe because of the storm, being at sea again or her realization that what comes can be exciting. Coming back home can be good and healing.

“I have bard blood in me. My father is a bard.” She smiles, her eyes forming creases at the corners. She said it so proudly, too, because damn it if it doesn’t feel good. ‘My father. Hjaldir. My mother. Deathbrand herself. Yeah, I could get used to that.’

before i reblog, i want to give you ALL the flowers in the world. i just finished reading the monster of a fic called the great war and YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN. there are no words that can amount to how much i adore this fic. i love lengthy word counts done right (god knows how much long fics i got excited over before them being disappointing or boring as a reader) and i, most importantly, love enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, historical aus done right !!

lets get this out of the way first GRRR WOOF WOOF WOOF BARK SNARK GRERR RAHH HOWL BARK BARK WOOF WOOF WOOF GENERAL SEUNGCHEOL VICTOR OF VENICE I NEED ABYSMALLY.

okay. now that i can safely get that out of my system, LOVE LOVE LOVEEE everything about this fic. theres something so sweet abt men being written unrealistically (aka respectful and honorable whattt??? out of this world tbh) im joking ,, but i did absolutely love how you made cheol so strongly standing for his wife. the slow burn that really did the tag justice (it BURNT), the ENEMIES TO LOVERS DONE RIGHT!?! LIKE YESSS !!! they actually did want to kill each other and the yelling and arguing leading up to the first kissing scene CHEFS KISS like that's literally the epitome of writing, like is it really an e2l if there isn't a intensely written argument before the first sign of intimacy!?!?

throughout reading this story, all i could think abt was how could i ever put into the words the justice you served. allowing reader to be a strong character yet so eloquently bringing to light the struggles she would still face from just being a woman, to seungcheol using his power to stand FOR her. an honorary mention of the "Careful." he would reply to the Councillor after the panicking scene from the Florence mention INCREDIBLE!! it gave everything and more!! the character development from both sides, venus and mars foreshadowing, the subtleties that only slow burn could provide. i genuinely wish i could give a way better review than this but unfortunately im still speechless due to how beautiful this story was so just pls take this dreary review and understand that im so so in love and i adore you so much for the amount of work you put out into this, from the visuals and the descriptions, the perfect build up, the amazing writing of e2l and reflections– just EVERYTHING. you created a masterpiece <3

Like Minho Stan or not, this was such a giggly, leg kicking, blushing little story that has been presented so freaking well. Every one has been written so well like the way you decided to do the little 'dude is that the good pizza from down the street' like RAHH THE WAY I STARTED CACKLING.

You presented the characters so well, their relationships so well and what I love love LOVEEEE are the little details authors add to stories. Some that I noticed in piece by piece:

Me throughout the plotline:

I wanna eat this shit up, like this fic is so me, so what I want to read after lots of stress, so I just fried my brain up but this makes it a hundred times better, so BEAUTIFUL.

So all over, I just wanna say a BIG thankyou for bringing a smile to my face even when I was sitting in the exam hall, still thinking about this sweet baby of a story.

would you think i was crazy if i said this review made me cry?? BECAUSE IT DID.

first, i’m honored that you chose to read my work as a reward for studying like oh my god. that’s one of the most rewarding things FOR ME as a writer it gives me all the warm fuzzies in my little author heart.

second, i LOOOOVE piece by piece. there is a very soft spot that i have for shy boy minho, mostly because i don’t really see him written that way. if you ask me, i think he’s the most shy out of all the skz members when it comes to anything related to dating. soft, gentle, etc. so please expect him to be written like that 9/10 times when you read my stuff bc i’m one of his biggest advocators.

and third, one of my favorite parts about writing is making it personal not only to the reader but also to the characters. i LOVE adding bits and pieces that serve as some sort of a call-back to something that happened earlier on or just better portray their humanity because i find that it’s easier to create a connection with the story and have it create a lasting effect. and i’m SO HAPPY that was the case here.

i seriously can’t thank you enough for your feedback, it helps me be not only a better writer but a better person. you are an amazing human and i bet you ROCKED that exam. i remember how much i dreaded tests in college so this is me sending you all the good vibes for a kick ass score 🫶

now that hazbin is out and ive had a while to digest, here r my NEW ship opinions (now with explanations!)

OTP: chaggie. they literally r both powerful and love eachother a lot,, they r a power couple. the contrast between charlie's whimsy and vaggie's jadedness is awesome too.

main ships: lucifer x alastor, and i love all the canon ships except lucililith

FRIENDships: alastor + tom trench (they r both fruity, they both say the news, they both probably drink liquor and black coffee unironically, what more do you want me to say? they have so much in common /silly), niffty + sir pentious (they r insane together. niffty would help clean while sir pentious focuses so hard on work that he becomes a shut-in. relatable king. and yet sir pent seems like the type to appreciate niffty's odd creativeness. he seems like the type who would help her organise and create machines to help her with her tasks and also make sure she doesnt work too much because he doesnt want her to be like him. checks and balances yknow)
